What is the difference between a part-time position and an on-call position at a job? - what is zepose-10

I work in a hospital and say that I am not suited for a raise because I'm in time to call in your computer system. I have over 15 hours per week at this time due to lack of activity, but before that, on average 30 hours per week. So, what is the difference between part time and attention? Is there a certain number of hours per week for someone who as a part-time?

Any employee who works less than full-time in general 40 hours or 37.5 hours (are) depending on the activity as a part-time or on demand.

Part-time employees usually have to set hours a week, for example, from Wednesday through Friday, or just dinner 5 to 9 for retail, and working hours are usually set for months.

Employees call in general, is the day before or a week to work before reporting for work at certain hours or days, and changes in the working week.

Part time is guaranteed for operation 1 to 31 hours per week. Full time is 32 to 40 + hours per week. If this "on demand", not "full time or part time. Being on call means that your employer to work at any time to come to work can call. Basically, you do not have the time, in contrast to the other two have a plan!

Part-time means that the work of a regular schedule of less than 40 hours per week.

Care means that they come to every time they call and ask you to work with. No schedule.
